Icelandic Horse in Brittany with Libea

Libea is an association based in Roscanvel, in Brittany. We invite you to discover the Icelandic horse in Brittany from every angle. Whether you’re a beginner, an experienced rider, or simply curious, you’ll find with us a dynamic and respectful approach to Icelandic riding.

Our activities are diverse. We offer nature rides, multi-day treks, in-person and online courses, as well as horse training. You can also take part in the daily life of the association through wwoofing or internships. Each option is tailored to your level and your goals.

We have gained experience in France, Iceland, Germany and Spain. As a result, we can support riders in achieving their objectives, whether for leisure or competition. We emphasize a healthy and balanced relationship with the horse. That’s why we advocate for ethical horsemanship: gentle starting, groundwork, bitless riding, and tailored progression.

The Icelandic horse in Brittany stands out for its kind temperament, curiosity, and unique gaits such as the tölt and flying pace. This hardy breed is perfectly suited to trail rides, long treks, and arena work alike.

At Libea, we love to share our knowledge. Therefore, we help you grow while respecting the horse’s rhythm. In addition, we can assist you in finding your future equine partner.

Like Icelandic horses, we have more than one strength. Come discover our world and let’s share our passion for the Icelandic horse… in Brittany.
