Introductory session

We offer an introduction to horse riding for young and old, beginners or more experienced riders, with our Icelandic horses known for their calm and kindness.

Their size means they can be ridden by children and adults alike.

Over the course of 3 hours, we’ll teach you how to approach a horse and connect with it, starting with ground and foot work, before saddling up in our grass arena.

Depending on your level, we can introduce you to the particular gaits of Icelandic horses, including the tölt.

If everyone is comfortable, we can go for a short ride on the beautiful paths of Roscanvel, on the moor, held in hand or not, depending on your level.
